What is this place?
This is Cupid Cube, a website dedicated to creating free online personal profiles. We offer a simple yet appealing design that loads as quickly as possible on any machine and any internet connection. We offer a variety of services for finding people in your area that meet your criteria. We hope to become the premiere online dating site on the net, and to do so we have to meet your needs.
How do I sign up?
Click the link that says Register an account. Fill out some introductory information and you will be all set! After that you will be able to interact with members and add pictures to your profile. We suggest adding pictures as soon as possible for the best results.
Why are there so few people in my area?
This is Cupid Cube's beta run, mostly to spread interest and aqcuire members. If you find there are not very many profiles close to your area, the best thing you can do is tell a few friends about our site. If you'd rather not bother, just come back in a month or two, and you'll be sure to find many more profiles in your area.
Let's say I'm interested, why should I sign up here?
Cupid Cube is one of the few completely free online dating services. Not only do we offer our services for free, but the structure of our system is more simple to use of any other! Online dating is already hard enough, you don't need a complicated and messy website to make it even worse. Plus, if you sign up and don't like it, you're not out one cent.
Setting Up Your Profile
The first thing you should do after you've signed up is add some pictures under the "Edit Images" heading of the Control Panel. Images are a sure fire way to get people interested in your profile. Also, the more details you enter in your profile, the better the chance is that someone very compatible with you will end up finding you in a search.
Browsing
On the browse page, you can click on any of the states you wish to see then choose the city you want to browse in. You may choose "View All" at the top of the page to see all uses in a particular state. This will ONLY search for people in your city or state, so if you want to find people within a certain range of where you live, use the search feature.
Searching
There are two types of searches on Cupid Cube. The first is a simple search where you enter the zip code and the gender you're looking for. This will yeild a result that will probably be very helpful to you, but just in case you need to be more specific, we made an advanced search. The advaced search allows you to search for any number of criteria and is primarily used when trying to find a specific person. Be careful not to select too many specific search fields or you might not get any results.
Friends List
Your friends list is a group of people you have chosen to add as your friend. When you view profiles on Cupid Cube, you have the option to message them, send them a wink, or add them to your friends list. This is an easy way to keep track of all the people you like to talk to regularly.
Block List
Is someone bothering you and spamming you with messages? That's why we created the block list. In your Control Panel, simply add the person's user name you wish to block, and they won't be able to contact you anymore. The system will block and delete any messages sent by this person to you. You can unblock anyone at anytime simply by returning to the same place in your Control Panel.
